I grew up with siblings over 5 years older than me, and as a result I've known their friends either my entire life, or most of it. One friend in particular has been my cheerleader over the years, always telling me I should start a business doing (fill in the blank). When I was a teen, it was baking cookies because I made great cookies, and I didn't skimp on the size. In more recent years it was selling the earrings I had made for myself when I was looking for a new craft project to do one day.

I waited until things settled down in my life a bit to look into etsy and with her help, along with another etsian, I opened shop in 2007 selling earrings. My shop has expanded and grown as I have over the past few years. My current passion is making organza peonies. They are time consuming but so much fun to make! The peonies really let me explore my love of color and my ability to pair things up. I use both buttons and beads in the center focal of my peonies. You just never know what you'll find!
